Parent Information Note

January 16th:  We do have school!

Please bring Snack Refills:  It is that time of year when we need to refill the snack shelves.  Half Day enrollees bring 2 boxes of small-size snack and 2 jugs of 100% juice.  All Day children bring 3 of each.

Registration for 2012-2013:  Registration is open to everyone now.  There are extra registration forms on the mail centers please take these to friends and family.  If you have not returned yours please do so soon.  If you are unsure of what next year will bring please talk to Rachel.

Welcome, Mrs. Woodford:  We welcome Mrs. Lucille Woodford to the Mon/Wed Three Year old class.  Mrs. Groen is taking a break as her chemo treatments continue and Mrs. Woodford will be her substitue.  She comes with many years of teaching experience in all grades.  She was also instrumental in the start of our preschool!

Redeemer Library:  Mrs. Pierce's and Mrs. Jeppesen's classes have both explored the library.  Each student checked out one or two books and put them in a ziploc bag.  These books can be returned to your teacher anytime but please leave them in the ziploc.  The classes will go about every two weeks.  At this time children's maximum checked out books will be two.  If you would like to explore the library and borrow DVD's, videos or books (adult or youth) please do so.  Leave your cards on the library desk and return the books to the basket in the library.

Mom's Day is Feb 15 & 16:  We will travel to a nursing home to share some songs with the residents and then go out for lunch.  We will leave here at approximately 10:30am and should be done around noon.  Mark your calendars!!

Fun Fridays Has Started:  We have started the Friday Drop-In class.  If you know of a family that would like one day of preschool or they need one more day spread the word.  The class is $10 per time.  

Weather Cancellations:  So far our year has been balmy but Winter is not over and who knows what may occur.  Listen for Willmar schools announcements.  We close when they do.  If school is two hours late there is no 1/2 day preschool that day.
