Our Beliefs

As a congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) we believe in the basic tenants of the Christian faith. We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. We believe that the Book of Concord (1580), a collection of creeds and confessions including Luthers Small Catechism, is normative for the church today.

lrose2We celebrate the sacraments of Holy Baptism and the Lords Supper. In Holy Baptism, we receive the gifts of forgiveness of sins, faith, and eternal salvation to all who believe. We enjoy the practice infant baptism as God desires these gifts for all of his children. We believe that the body of Christ is truly present in, with, and under the bread and wine we receive during communion. We call this the real presence. Through his death and resurrection, Christ offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who believe in him.

Sharing Christ and Changing Lives!
